Newest NM from ppa routes can be added to user connection. routes cannot be added to system connection. user connection with routes can not be converted into system connection. I discovered that when putting 8 to prefix, the route is saved. Previosly I used 0 as prefix. Consider this to be my stupidity, somehow did not get the idea that prefix means 149/8 notion. is that a system settings connection or just a normal one? It does not depend on system or auto settings. I choose one existing connection and try to add new route to it by IPv4 settings--Routes--Add. It is possible to add a route and it is remembered when I close Routes window. When I press now OK again to go back to first network manager window and go then back to Edit connection-IPv4 settings-Routes, then routes window is empty again, my previously entered route was not saved.
