I do not think so that It is driver related: I had this issue on Intrepid: my wireless connection always disconnected and sometimes it reconnected automatically, sometimes it asked me my password (a lot of times). I downgraded to network-manager 0.6.6 and I have no more problem. C. I have removed this a duplicate of bug 295414, which is reported as the wifi disconnecting over and over. This is about the WPA/WPA2 Passphrase request, which is not the same.
