[Bug 319462] Re: [ooo-build] Evolution address support for OpenOffice.org Problem
I am having the same defect for which this defect was started: sorting a query on an evolution contacts database does not work. Use case is similar as decribed by Harold Weitzer. My setup is Ubunty 9.10 - 32 bits, using the standard packages from the package manager: - - Package openoffice.org-core 1:3.1.1-5ubuntu1, Thu Oct 22 20:13:41 UTC 2009 (OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 OOO310m19 Build:9420) - Package openoffice.org-evolution 1.3.1.1-5ubuntu1 - Package evolution 2.28.1-0ubuntu2 If there is a newer version of OO available as Ubuntu package, I am willing to try it. -- [ooo-build] Evolution address support for OpenOffice.org Problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319462 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 319462] Re: [ooo-build] Evolution address support for OpenOffice.org Problem
Chris, this update build works & evolocal.odb is now installed in /home//.openoffice.org/3/user/database/. I tested by renaming /home//.openoffice.org/ to /home//x-.openoffice.org/-x and restarted the PPA OOo; evolocal.odb was & Evolution Personal is working. -- [ooo-build] Evolution address support for OpenOffice.org Problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319462 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

@Gordon: If you need to use before the build is corrected, you can use the attached evolocal.odb file. [Bug 319462] [NEW] Evolution address support for OpenOffice.org Problem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org I am using Ubuntu 8.04 with all current updates, Open Office 2.4.1. and Evolution 2.22.3.1. Evolution 1:2.4.1-lubuntu 2.1 was installed by the synaptic package manager to provide evolution address support for OpenOffice.org. The Evolution Database, according to the instructions cannot be modified, but it can be queried with filters and also reported. The query and table wizard processes allow sorting information input but the results are not sorted. I did create a sample database and everything worked fine, including the sorting. To reproduce this problem: 1. Create an address book with a number of entries in the Evolution application. 2. Then in the Open Office database application 'connect to an existing' 'Evolution local' database. At this point the address book database table has been created. 4. Create a query with an alphabetic sort and a filter. Although the sort has been requested, it does no occur. The filters work on some columns (for example categories, home_phone, etc) and not others (file_as, addr_line1, etc.) 5. Create a report: dynamic & static. Static report: can be sorted by selecting the columns and doing a table sort. it cannot be updated even though the the query it is based on has changed. Dynamic report: can not be sorted. can be updated to new information from the Evolution Database by running the query that it is based on and then running the report. ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evolution address support for OpenOffice.org Problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319462 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
