I have the same problem. My PC has a Intel GMA965 chipset. I have switched from the regular mode to de UXA mode in XORG Section Device IdentifierConfigured Video Device # ... OptionAccelMethod uxa EndSection But even without that, has the same problem. The only way i can make it work, is using static MesaGL version of Blender.
