[Bug 366606] Re: DVB-T PCI card not working in 9.04

2009-09-24 Thread James Harris
This is still a problem for me. I have tried booting with kernel
2.6.27-14-generic and the DVB problem goes away and I can record again
BUT this impacts playback. Audio is fine but any file played back has
choppy video as if the system plays back only one frame in two or three.

This renders the machine almost useless. I can either record or I can
play back but not both unless I reboot between recording and playing
back.

Does anyone know how to get back to the Ubuntu 8.10 scenario which
worked OK?

James

[Bug 366606] Re: DVB-T PCI card not working in 9.04

2009-09-08 Thread James Harris
I have the same problem. All was OK (with all packages updated) under
Ubuntu 8.10. Since the upgrade to 9.04 the problem occurs. It is trying
to access a Nebula DigiTV PCI card with a Zarlink mt352 chip and driver.

2009-08-03 Thread Peter Springett
I too have this problem and it is resolved by using an older Kernel
under Ubuntu 9.04 (2.6.27-9 was the one I was using)

2009-04-27 Thread yomlogs
Small update: if I boot 9.04 with kernel 2.6.27-11-generic, my DVB card
works fine.

** Description changed:
