Ubuntu 10.04, VLC 1.0.6 from the repos, same or related problem. FLAC playback stops in the middle of a certain track, same thing every time, two minutes into the song. This bug might have a wider scope. I noticed the problem in VLC, so I tried rhythmbox, and minirok, and they all abort on the same FLAC files at the same points in time. I did NOT have this problem in karmic, so it's not a problem with the FLAC files as such.
