Thanks, I think this is caused by a race condition in the debconf.py module in aptdaemon. First time using Software Store, I added 4 packages to be installed and got this error four times. The GUI did not die and the packages installed correctly it seems. Seems to happen with any installable application in software-store. The software-store itself won't crash however and the application will also be installed. first time using software store: "crash" notice occurred while installing 'calculator'. The 'software store' window remained open and responsive after the 'crash', and the list of installed software now includes two instances of 'calculator' -- each having the 'green check' overlaid. Next (with the window still open after the above crash), I tried installing 'update manager', which crashed without installing anything, but the main window was still open and responsive. Both of these failed installs were from unchecked items in the 'installed software' category.
