I have tried the proposed workaround (adding MODULES=sdhci_pci sdhci ricoh_mmc) on my dell but the problem still exists. In actual fact the module richoh_mmc is not even loaded on my system. I have attached my /proc/modules. One other thing to try is to force the unloading/loading of the sdhci and ricoh_mmc drivers over the suspend/resume. Colin, I have tested the (corrected) proposed change: MODULES=sdhci_pci sdhci ricoh_mmc , and have found it to work on my Toshiba Portege M750 with Ubuntu 9.10. Many thanks! Regards, Tim P.S. @Tim, I will contact the ricoh_mmc maintainer and feedback our findings.
