[Bug 459832] Re: Touchpad is re-enabled after typing
I am using a Dell Inspiron 1420 and I usually turned off the touchpad while I had a mouse plugged in. Now even going in and telling PreferencesMouseTouchpad and unselecting the Disable touchpad while typing I continue to have the touchpad responding to every touch. Annoying to a lazy typist. -- Touchpad is re-enabled after typing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/459832 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 459832] Re: Touchpad is re-enabled after typing
Same problem with an Asus M51VR. With ubuntu 9.04, i haven't problems , the fn key works and disabled the mousepad. Now, with 9.10, i've problems. The fn key (F9 in my laptop and a with a quickkey) doesn't works. With Gsynaptics i can disabled the mousepad but it enable after any key was pressed. This only woks with the workaround of Anita. [Bug 459832] Re: Touchpad is re-enabled after typing
I have this problem too in karmic. I found a way to work around it. I installed gsynaptics to disable the touchpad (because my other problem is that the function key no longer works.) Then in System/Preferences/Mouse/Touchpad, I unselect Disable touchpad while typing. Now the touchpad does not re-enable when I type. -- Touchpad is re-enabled after typing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/459832 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
