Thank you for your bug report. Do you still have this issue with the latest release of Ubuntu ? ** Changed in: apt-cacher (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- apt-cacher gets confused by apt's changes to request full URI in HTTP https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/51555 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 51555] Re: apt-cacher gets confused by apt's changes to request full URI in HTTP
The trick given in the bug you point to works in apt-cacher's case as well: in /etc/apt/apt.conf, change the line: Acquire::http::Proxy "false"; to: AcquireProxy "false"; All my machines so far had been upgraded from Breezy and hence did not show the problem. Fresh installations of Dapper and Edgy are affected. -- apt-cacher gets confused by apt's changes to request full URI in HTTP https://launchpad.net/bugs/51555 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
