if the key does not exist that's because the upstream schemas doesn't list it. And no, we are not going to change the default over upstream. Thanks for your bug. The suggestions about design decisions are better placed upstream since we are not likely to take a decision for them and don't want the same application behaving differently on Ubuntu than other distributions or than upstream. I don't suggest that the current page be replaced. That would be terrible. I just think that the results should be opened in a new tab. Changed to epiphany-extensions, as Smart Bookmarks is an extension. This does not necessarily have to be fixed upstream, as it can also be turned off and on with a gconf setting /apps/epiphany/extensions/smart-bookmarks/dictionarysearch/open_in_tab is a boolean setting that the Smart Bookmarks extension calls to see whether to open the search results in a new tab. Regardless of whether the code is changed upstream to make opening in tabs the default, Ubuntu should ship with the above boolean set to true.
