[Bug 52752] Re: Kernel hangs during boot sequence since Revision 2.6.15-25 on Thinkpad T60
This may be related: When I boot into a the newly-installed 2.6.15-26-686 kernel on my T60, the system hangs for 1 min 30 seconds at "Mounting root filesystem..." and then finishes booting normally. Booting into the older 2.6.15-25-386 kernel (note the different arch.) does not show this behavior on the same machine. $ sudo mkinitramfs -k -o /boot/initrd.img-2.6.15-26-686 2.6.15-26-686 yields: Working files in /tmp/mkinitramfs_spJGBj and overlay in tmp/mkinitramfs-OL_PdfFTj But does not improve boot time. -- Kernel hangs during boot sequence since Revision 2.6.15-25 on Thinkpad T60 https://launchpad.net/bugs/52752 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
