[Bug 527938] Re: Open office crashes when trying to set up Bibliography Database
This should get fixed in upstream but I am not sure why you are still seeing the crash on Ubuntu 10.04. We have split out the libraries needed to keep it from crashing, some time ago, into openoffice.org-base-core which is now depended on by openoffice.org-writer. Confirmed that installing openoffice.org-base (the database component of oo.o) makes the problem go away. Confirmed using: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: openoffice.org-core 1:3.1.1-5ubuntu1.1 However, could not reproduce with the latest daily build of lucid 10.4 (2010-02-24) and package openoffice.org-core 1:3.2.0rc4-1ubuntu1.
