Gnome bug #328971 is about tags, this one (Gnome bug #556828) about album entries, both reports are open and seem forgotten, probably they wont be fixed upstream in a close future, the attached patch never was accepted in upstream and isn't applicable in ubuntu anymore. It's present in 2.98-0ubuntu1 (raring) and there is also a report in Debian #680584 (which may indicate they also have it).
