Thanks for forwarding the bug. The ability to drag and drop the columns to rearrange them is of course not an issue, since it's an added feature above and beyond regular column headers. But previous releases of Evolution have had the same capability, while looking just like regular column headers, which is why I feel that it's a regression - granted, a very minor one. Upstream, the change may have been made intentionally, to make the drag and drop feature more discoverable (I don't follow Evolution development very closely). The bug has not been forwarded upstream. I've opened an upstream task so the bug is listed as "to forward" for contributors who wants to work on that. Even in Clearlooks the column headers are shown as a different size to those other TreeView widgets. In some themes (Murrine, Human, Crux, ...) the deviations are very clear. The rest of Evolution's interface is generally clean, so it is sad that it is made inconsistent by this effect - especially since Human must be one of the most widely used (at least by default) themes now. I'll try to find / add an upstream query about this. Thanks for forwarding the bug. The ability to drag and drop the columns to rearrange them is of course not an issue, since it's an added feature above and beyond regular column headers. But previous releases of Evolution have had the same capability, while looking just like regular column headers, which is why I feel that it's a regression - granted, a very minor one. Upstream, the change may have been made intentionally, to make the drag and drop feature more discoverable (I don't follow Evolution development very closely). Even in Clearlooks the column headers are shown as a different size to those other TreeView widgets. In some themes (Murrine, Human, Crux, ...) the deviations are very clear. The rest of Evolution's interface is generally clean, so it is sad that it is made inconsistent by this effect - especially since Human must be one of the most widely used (at least by default) themes now. I'll try to find / add an upstream query about this.
