[Bug 66752] Re: Bitpim uses 100% CPUs and fills all memory
I do not see this behavior with the current version of bitpim (0.9.10.dfsg.1-1ubuntu1) in Feisty Fawn. 1) Start bitpim 2) Connect phone (LG VX6100) 3) Edit -> Settings 4) In Settings window click "Browse" 5) Phone is successfully detected. -- Bitpim uses 100% CPUs and fills all memory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/66752 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 66752] Re: Bitpim uses 100% CPUs and fills all memory
I see the same behavior on Edgy Eft, using bitpim 0.9.04.dfsg.1-1 from the universe repository. I have installed bitpim 0.9.04 (converted from the released .rpm to .deb using alien) and I do not see this behavior (bitpim quickly allocates all available memory). Note that in order to use the version produced with alien, I need to create a symlink for /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3 which points to /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4. I can run the buggy version under strace, if that helps. -- Bitpim uses 100% CPUs and fills all memory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/66752 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
