Selene, can we mark this as sa duplicate of bug 776179 if that was the underlying issue (ie. has Niklas and others who experienced this confirmed that their payments were cancelled after a few days? I know you emailed everyone, but wasn't sure of the outcome). Ok, I've removed the ppa's and uncommented the repository which cannot be fetched. I see some warnings in the log: W:Failed to fetch http://repository.spotify.com/dists/stable/Release Unable to find expected entry 'non-free/source/Sources' in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file) , W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/lookit/stable/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found , W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/lookit/stable/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found That looks like some repositories are not quite working correctly, could you please uncomment them and try the "reinstall previous purchase" menu again? Could you also please attach the log from right-after when you clicked "reinstall-previous-purchase" please? So something like: 1 click on reinstal previous purchase 2 enter credentials (if needed) 3 check the packages that open then 4 close the application 5. attach logfile Do you get any error message or anything like this in step 1 or 2? And what do you see in step 3? Just a empty software-center application list? Thanks for your bugreport. Could you please attach ~/.cache/software-center/software-center.log to this report? Could you also please check if the option in the menu: File/Reinstall previous purchase works and gives you the ability to install the software? I mark this bug as private for now so just in case the software-center.log contains anything private. I don't think it does, but I want to be sure.
