This problem occurs in XUbuntu 7.10, up-to-date with repos as of 24 March 2008. My wife reported the problem to me. Correction. I said Restarting the computer causes the print job to start., which is false. I thought my wife said that after logging back in after a reboot, the print job automatically restarted. Actually, after restarting the computer, she could reopen Abiword and print. I confirm this on my machine as well. Highly annoying given the fact that Abiword is such a fantastic program! Hope someone can pin this problem down and fix it soon. I use Ubuntu 7.04 and the Abiword version from the repos, i.e ver 2.4.6. I have an HP PSC 1500. I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy-beta). I then tried Kword and found that there was no such problem - it could print again and again without problems. I can confirm this bug in Xubuntu 6.10 with AbiWord 2.4.5. I can print multiple times from gedit and Firefox, but only once each time I open AbiWd - even with the same document. To get a second print from AbiWd I have to close and re-open AbiWd, not just the document.
