I have looked over the logs briefly, but there are no obvious causes I can see; also suspend and hibernate problems aren't really my area. The logs can be useful for dealing with some bugs, but it is far easier to debug if you have the computer in front of you and can test the issue and fixes in a controlled environment. Bear in mind that the vast majority of developers are volunteers with families and jobs - we don't get paid for this. Hi Timothy sorry about yesterday post, I was kind of upset and yes I understand the volunteer job you're doing . Regarding the fixing this myself , I'm not sure I know where to start from . But I'm not sure if this is a hibernation/suspend issue ... maybe it is related to X server. Because after resuming from suspend/hibernation the computer is working, I can ssh on it and issue commands. The problem is that the X server is not working right after resuming from suspend/hibernation. I will debug it myself but don't know where to start from. From experience these issues usually disappear after a few kernel releases when the upstream developers come across it themselves anyway. There's nothing to stop you from learning a programming language and joining in development yourself if you wanted. The majority of developers are currently overwhelmed with work because of how close it is to the release of Oneiric, and this issue seems to affect a relatively small number of people, so there are higher priority bugs to deal with.
