On second thought, this actually is important information since I was hoping to have gnome-shell 3.4 in the Ubuntu repositories for 12.04 but we might be keeping gnome-control-center at version 3.2. The keyboard shortcuts have been ported from the gconf backend to the new gsettings backend in GNOME 3.3.2. The ricotz testing ppa however does not have the new gnome-control-center package, so changing the keyboard shortcuts with the 3.2.2 version of this package from the Ubuntu repositories does nothing now. Apparently, I can define a custom "Launch Terminal" shortcut launching gnome-terminal that does work (with the same key combination that's not working for the original "Launch Terminal" shortcut). "Launch Terminal" and "Maximize window horizontally/vertically", for example, don't work anymore, no matter what key combination I assign to them. Most of the other shortcuts do work (haven't tried them all, though). I'm using gnome-shell in Oneiric, with (latest as of the moment) packages from ricotz/testing PPA, but I don't know which piece of - software more specifically could be the culprit.
