Adding a new Facebook account works (The only supported feature currently is Chat). It's a universe leaf package, not installed by default in any derivative, and in line with the rest of GNOME 3.4.1. I don't see much issues enabling it now, if the facebook support causes troubles we can always SRU it to disable it again.
