[Bug 950889] [NEW] cannot find local video file although it appears as recently watched
Public bug reported: There is a video file called How fast.ogg in /usr/share/example- content/Ubuntu_Free_Culture_Showcase. After i've watched it it appears in video lens as recently watched. [Bug 950866] Re: BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 3573f000
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report on this issue. However, given the number of bugs that the Kernel Team receives during any development cycle it is impossible for us to review them all. Therefore, we occasionally resort to using automated bots to request further testing. This is such a request. We have noted that there is a newer version of the development kernel than the one you last tested when this issue was found. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the bug if this issue still exists or not. You can update to the latest development kernel by simply running the following commands in a terminal window: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade If the bug still exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Confirmed. If the bug no longer exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Fix Released. If you want this bot to quit automatically requesting kernel tests, add a tag named: bot-stop-nagging. [Bug 950157] Re: [UIFe] Lubuntu LDM Theme
Hey Julian, I can use it but I might have to make it somewhat lighter, like how I did with the previous one. The problem with LDM is that it's theming is very limited, you can choose one text colour and a wallpaper and a logo, so to avoid having contrast problems I might have to alter it slightly. [Bug 919773] Re: The new (2.6.39+) samsung_laptop kernel module causes serious backlight flickering - makes the desktop unusable - part 2
[Bug 160311] Re: Resizing windows by grabbing window borders is difficult
Are there any plans to address this bug for unity-2d, after having marked it as critical? Recently the resize grips in the bottom right corner have been entirely removed from precise, leaving the resize process of windows very difficult in unity-2d. I use the attached script (50_light-themes-borders) in /etc/X11/Xsession.d to copy the Ambiance and Radiance themes to the $HOME/.themes user directory and then modify the border width to 3 pixels, for normal frame geometry. The modifications are made only if unity-2d session is used and are reverted for other sessions. However the script may break if changes are made to the original themes. [Bug 906922] Re: qemu-arm-static chroots give copious memory errors when setting up java build dependencies
So currently all of the armel PPA buildds that are in auto-mode on production launchpad are using qemu-arm-static to run their build chroots. On staging I saw a dramatic decrease in the number of OOM-type failures and catastrophic mmap() failures, with a slight uptick in sig11s (on different packages, and hard to reproduce via re-builds). We decided it was Good Enough For Now and moved things into production. Probably the best way to stress-test this now would be to run a bunch of armel PPA builds through production launchpad (say, a precise main rebuild or something) and examine the build failures. We definitely felt that this patch gave a worthwhile improvement over the old behavior. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/906922 Title: qemu-arm-static chroots give copious memory errors when setting up java build dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu-linaro/+bug/906922/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
