[Bug 1369476] [NEW] No sound input/output via bluetooth headset in HSP/HFP mode
Public bug reported: On a machine without fixed connecting audio devices like internal microphone or internal speaker, And when there is no external audio devices plugging in, the default source/sink is alsa_input/alsa_output and there is no input devices/output devices listed in the gnome sound-setting. Under this situation, if we connect a bluetooth headset, the gnome sound-setting will list bluez input/output devices, but they are not active devices by default. This looks very weird that sound-setting lists only one input device and one output device, but they are not active. To change this situation, we add an argument, the policy is if a new source/sink is connected and current default source/sink's active_port is AVAILABLE_NO, we let the new added one switch to default one. ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Hui Wang (hui.wang) Status: New ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1369476 Title: No sound input/output via bluetooth headset in HSP/HFP mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1369476/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Mako running MultiROM with #239 1. Enter an existing conversation 2. Send an sms 3. [Bug 1369481] [NEW] The trusty machine type should stick to the 2.0 version
Public bug reported: If I understand correctly, the pc-i440fx-trusty machine type introduced by bug #1294823 is meant to solve migration problems, by using a default which stay the same between versions. Unfortunately the patch was written by pointing to the pc default machine type, so is 2.1 in the utopic packaging version. It seems the intent of the machine type is to stay stable over time, so it would make sense to me if the patch was fixed in the utopic version to point to the 2.0 machine type, instead of the default. ** Affects: qemu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1369481 Title: The trusty machine type should stick to the 2.0 version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1369481/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1333388] Re: mod_ident no longer included in apache
Yes, we did talk on IRC :-) As far as I can tell, utopic 2.4.10-1ubuntu1 does not build modident (still). I suspect what might have been fixed in the debian bug my report got merged into (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=711925) is the constant removal of any module called modident wherever you load it from. However, this doesn't address the problem that modident is missing in the first place. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #711925 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=711925 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188 Title: mod_ident no longer included in apache To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apache2/+bug/188/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1369485] [NEW] libreoffice-draw nolonger prints embedded postscript
Public bug reported: Take a known good document with embedded postscript. Regression: Previously worked on new 14.04 install. This worked as follows (base:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2): Tools-Options: Uncheck PDF as standard print job format. Looks rubbish on screen, but that is known problem. Print file to postscript printer, and it looks fine. Apply upgrades as they are made available to reach: 4.2.6.3-0ubuntu1 Looks rubbish on screen, as before, but printing now produces rubbish on the page. Also tried PPA: 1:4.3.1~rc2-0ubuntu1~trusty1 To get a decent printout: Downgrade libreoffice, as described here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/248953/can-i-use-an-older-version-of-libreoffice This one worked fine: LibreOffice_4.2.3.3_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz Looks rubbish - unreadable actually. Looks to be some very low resolution version of the image which is present in the postscript file. This would be consistent with web-searching about how OOo, L.O. handle embedded postscript. Clearly I would prefer to stay on main package tree, or on the PPA. If someone can provide precise command line instructions (inc file location) on how to downgrade to a specific ubuntu package version, I'll try them. [Bug 1367904] Re: Soundconverter ask for i386 libs on x64
This isn't a mysql-5.1 bug, so reassigning to Ubuntu. Please note that this is the Ubuntu bug tracker, not a help forum. If you need help, see http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community for community support options. Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. Or if you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Package changed: mysql-5.1 (Ubuntu) = ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1367904 Title: Soundconverter ask for i386 libs on x64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1367904/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1369535] [NEW] Xmodmap works abnormally on Ubuntu14.04,the key mappings will be reset after a few minutes
Public bug reported: I want to swap theses two keys: Caps_Lock and Control_L, my configuration file as follows: ~/.profile: if [ -f $HOME/.xmodmaprc ]; then xmodmap ~/.xmodmaprc fi ~/.xmodmaprc : remove Lock = Caps_Lock remove Control = Control_L keysym Control_L = Caps_Lock keysym Caps_Lock = Control_L add Lock = Caps_Lock add Control = Control_L The same configuration, On Ubuntu12.04, it worked properly. After the upgrade, it works abnormally, after a few minutes, the key mappings will be rest, I have to run 'xmodmap ~/.xmodmaprc' again and again. I also use a virtual machine, and the key mapping changes can't map to the guest system, but ubuntu12.04 don't have this problem. I am sure my configuration file “.xmodmaprc“ had not been “called” by other softs or system repeatedly. It's 'fixed' the same way: by moving focus to another window and then returning to firefox.
