[Bug 884856] Re: gnome-keyring integration breaks some GPG functions
This also breaks GPA ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gpa/+bug/1381926 ) and S/MIME support in Kontact. It has required that there is a section about this in the GnuPG Wiki ( http://wiki.gnupg.org/PlatformNotes ). And related problems are regularly raised on the gnupg-users mailing list. There was a thread on the gnupg-devel mailing list involving the gnome- keyring maintainer that shows some standpoints of this problem: http://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-devel/2014-August/028690.html Imho it is an Ubuntu problem and not an Upstream problem. [Bug 1393767] Re: [trusty] light-locker-settings may prevent xfpm to apply power source dependent monitor power management
As I already said, backporting those features is not really an option, even though trusty will be around for quite a bit (simply because our workforce is too limited for that – feel free to help out and propose patches). The main problem the dependency chain (xfce4-power-manager 1.4 needs a newer version of light-locker-settings etc.), so bottom line: from my pov we'll have to live with what we got as Trusty is in bugfix mode, that's how I understand Ubuntu's release model. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1393767 Title: [trusty] light-locker-settings may prevent xfpm to apply power source dependent monitor power management To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/light-locker-settings/+bug/1393767/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1392615] Re: OA sign-in should not block
I've been playing around with the phone, trying to reproduce this issue using multiple configurations: * Youtube scope signed in. * Youtube scope not signed in. * YouTube favourited. * YouTube not favourited. * YouTube and Videos scopes at different positions in the favourited scopes. * Even Online Accounts completely removed from the Youtube scope code. Granted, the Youtube scope (either loaded directly or indirectly via Videos) seems to lag more when started than other scopes. However, regardless of the configuration, I always seem to get the same amount of lag when scrolling. I then noticed that the Vimeo scope seemed to also produce a considerable lag (I'm talking 500ms up to 1.5s). So I tried the above configurations with the Vimeo scope this time (yes, even removing OA completely from the scope), but I still could not see any noticeable change in lag between each configurations. I'm marking this bug as invalid as I can't see (from my tests, and my colleges trying this too) that OA sign-in is the reason behind the lagging issue. ** Changed in: unity-scopes-api (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1392615 Title: OA sign-in should not block To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-scopes-api/+bug/1392615/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1301083] Re: Drag and Drop File Auto Opens Folders
This bug is infuriating. It makes Nautilus unusable for any task involving organizing files / folders. Time is wasted backing out of folders every time you drag and drop a file. [Bug 1394253] [NEW] Bluetooth discoverability confusing
Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce: 1. go to Bluetooth in Settings 2. go out of the Bluetooth pane When going in, the page says "Discoverable" and lists the name. With the auto-hinter, Ā and à are distinguishable from 12px upwards, but most of the others aren't distinguishable until 19px upwards. ** Attachment added: "screenshot of the problem characters from 7px to 19px" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-font-family/+bug/655619/+attachment/4263843/+files/Tildes%20vs%20macrons.png ** Project changed: ubuntu-font-family => freetype (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: freetype (Ubuntu) Milestone: 1.00 => None ** Summary changed: - Hinting: tilde/macron confusion at small sizes (ãñõÕ) + Auto-hinter muddles tildes/macrons in Ubuntu font <19px (ñĀÃāãŌÕōõ) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/655619 Title: Auto-hinter muddles tildes/macrons in Ubuntu font <19px (ñĀÃāãŌÕōõ) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/freetype/+bug/655619/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1393767] Re: [trusty] light-locker-settings may prevent xfpm to apply power source dependent monitor power management
Just to be sure there is no misunderstanding, I was talking about light- locker-settings 1.2.1 and xfpm 1.2.0 (both from trusty). The patch is for those versions. If you decide to apply it, we will loose a gui to set screen blanking (it will be turned off), but we will gain better consistency with xfpm and eliminate some confusing configuration results.

[Bug 1388530] Re: 14.10 freezes during shutdown on MSI GE60 with Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M
Hey, I have just found a workaround by chance: purging xserver-xorg-video- nouveau (without replacing it by a Nvidia driver) from the system removes the freezing issue during shutdown! That's very strange because the driver is loaded with initrd during the boot, meaning rebooting after the removal does not prevent X Server from using the nouveau driver... without the shutdown issue that was directly caused by the same driver. Maybe someone can shed light on this mystery. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1388530 Title: 14.10 freezes during shutdown on MSI GE60 with Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/1388530/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
