[Bug 1522422] Re: Update to php 7.0
@bhat3, @colan, Thank you very much for the feedback. I just submitted a debdiff in Bug # 1544352 for drupal7 as it is in 16.04 to change the deps to PHP7. It does work, in that I can setup a very basic instance and it ... runs :) But I don't really have the bandwidth to test it further. While I understand that upstream (drupal.org) may not mention these packages, the goal is obviously for a distribution to provide a self-sufficient instance. [Bug 1547133] Re: After automatically upgrading Xubuntu library libnss3 to version 2:3.21-0ubuntu0.15.10.1 some apps stop working
This is a bug in QtWebEngine. The file src/3rdparty/chromium/net/third_party/nss/patches/chacha20poly1305.patch contains the following: +/* This is a bodge to allow this code to be compiled against older NSS + * headers. */ +#ifndef CKM_NSS_CHACHA20_POLY1305 +#define CKM_NSS_CHACHA20_POLY1305 (CKM_NSS + 26) Unfortunately, CKM_NSS + 26 got used for something else in nss 3.21: #define CKM_NSS_TLS_EXTENDED_MASTER_KEY_DERIVE_DH (CKM_NSS + 26) In nss 3.23, we now have: #define CKM_NSS_CHACHA20_POLY1305 (CKM_NSS + 28) This means QtWebEngine isn't using the right value. To fix this, QtWebEngine needs to be patched to use the proper value of CKM_NSS + 28 in the following files: src/3rdparty/chromium/net/socket/ssl_client_socket_nss.cc src/3rdparty/chromium/net/third_party/nss/patches/chacha20poly1305.patch src/3rdparty/chromium/net/third_party/nss/ssl/ssl3con.c src/3rdparty/chromium/third_party/nss/patches/nss-chacha20-poly1305.patch src/3rdparty/chromium/third_party/nss/nss/lib/util/pkcs11n.h Once that is done and QtWebEngine is rebuilt, I believe it will be compatible with nss 3.21 and 3.23. I am closing this bug since the product using QtWebEngine is not in Ubuntu and there is no further action to be done. ** Changed in: nss (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nss in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1547133 Title: After automatically upgrading Xubuntu library libnss3 to version 2:3.21-0ubuntu0.15.10.1 some apps stop working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nss/+bug/1547133/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1561712] [NEW] EFI doesn't show multiple installs of the same operating system
Public bug reported: STEPS: 1. Install 14.04 on a fresh vm/hdd 2. Drop into the efi system and ensure there is an entry for it 3. Now install 16.04 along side it (For example an experiment on hardware for if it is safe to upgrade) 4. Now check the efi system again EXPECTED: All versions should be visible in the efi system ACTUAL: Because both the systems install the same files to the same folder in the EFI system the 16.04 install overrides the 14.04 efi install, this means if you remove the 16.04 install because for example it isn't suitable for your system you can nolonger boot 14.04 either because there is only a grub boot entry and not an efi entry anymore. SUGGESTION: Tag efi entries with at least a timestamp and maybe the version. This will give each ubuntu efi entry a unique entry and mean both are bootable even if one is removed. ** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1561712 Title: EFI doesn't show multiple installs of the same operating system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1561712/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1560583] Re: reading /sys/kernel/security/apparmor/profiles requires CAP_MAC_ADMIN
To clarify "necessary to open up". 1. the old behavior was wrong. It allowed introspection of policy in situation that it should not have. 2. In order to open up the profiles file so that more than the system root could introspect it, DAC restrictions needed to be removed and the permission checking of what is allowed needed to be moved fully into apparmor. Since there was not time for fine grained mediation in the first iteration, the tightest restriction with original intent was used. That is that only the policy admin is allowed fully view of loaded policy. This can be opened up with further development but is the original intent of how policy introspection was supposed to work (hence #1 noting that implementation was flawed and wrong). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1560583 Title: reading /sys/kernel/security/apparmor/profiles requires CAP_MAC_ADMIN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1560583/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1561698] [NEW] Build hangs on s390x
Public bug reported: The build reproducibly hangs on the buildds on s390x. It's always at the same place, in the "642026" test. https://git.gnome.org/browse/glib/tree/glib/tests/642026.c I don't think it's this testsuite that is at fault though - the same thing builds on other Ubuntu architectures and for Debian s390x. Re: [Bug 1561627] After days of uptime, apps do not receive positionupdates.
The battery is perfect (98% and 45% of average). The phone is coming from a fly mode in the night. There is not a number of days. Something is affecting it (maybe network?) and when you open an application, it didn't get a position. The first time this happened was in March of the 2015 with HERE, it didn't get a position and it needed a phone reboot. I haven't a behavior for reproduce, I am sorry. I will try to use the tool you mentioned and if it is happening again to me, I'll not restart for analize it :) -- Sent using Dekko from my Ubuntu device -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1561627 Title: After days of uptime, apps do not receive position updates. [Bug 1561762] Re: [FFe] AppArmor 2.11 Beta 1 for policy namespace stacking and bug fixes

However, we're still doing testing to complete the Ubuntu test plan defined here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Process/Merges/TestPlans/AppArmor When that is complete, I'll post the final details/results and subscribe the release team. ** Changed in: apparmor (Ubuntu) Importance: High => Critical ** Changed in: apparmor (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Tyler Hicks (tyhicks) ** Changed in: apparmor (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1561762 Title: [FFe] AppArmor 2.11 Beta 1 for policy namespace stacking and bug fixes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/1561762/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
