I'm not certain where it's documented, but above, see one of my merge
requests. It had already been reviewed before Luke took a look. I set
it to Work In Progress this morning (guess I could have deleted it
otherwise), and I can't see it now in the sponsoring overview...

Which leads me to believe that setting the merge to a status other
than Needs Review is the right procedure (I think Work In Progress
needs to be set by the requester though), unless somebody else did
something I'm not aware of?

I thought I had seen something pass by in email about this, but I
couldn't find any trace of it.

So I'm piloting now and saw the merge proposal[2] for the above bug in the
sponsoring report[1].

1) What is the right status for the merge proposal since it has been
forwarded upstream? In my mind it doesn't really need to be in the
sponsoring report anymore.

2) Is the right status documented anywhere?

Re: Merge-o-Matic is broken

2011-03-04 Thread Artur Rona
I know about Lucas merges and I use it when Merge-o-Matic does not work
properly. However, MoM is more useful because it has semi-automatic
script to doing merges automatically and has got comments module.

2011-03-04 Thread Fabrice Coutadeur
Hi Artur,

Do you know this merge page: http://people.ubuntuwire.org/~lucas/merges.html ?
I've been using it instead of MoM since Lucas put it online (last
year, I think), and seems to be always up-to-date.

cheers
Fabrice

Merge-o-Matic is broken

2011-03-04 Thread Artur Rona
Dear developers,

Since some time (probably 15th Feb) Merge-o-Matic has been hanged and
did not update database anymore. Now it looks like turned off - Internal
Server Error. What is the status of MoM? Is it going to be removed?
I would like to notice that Merge-o-Matic is helpful tool for
contributors. It is useful during FeatureFreeze cause contributors and
developers can easy look for bug-fixes and security-fixes in Debian and
do merge or request sync.

Kind regards,

2011/03/04 Ubuntu Release Meeting Agenda

2011-03-04 Thread Kate Stewart

Thank you to all the developers and testers who participated this week
in adding those last features, finding, and fixing bugs, so we could get
A3 released yesterday! Well done!

Just a reminder that we'll be having a release meeting for Natty in a
couple of hours, sorry the reminder didn't go out yesterday, but the A3
release took precedence ;)

Agenda is still getting this the bugs from this weeks A3 testing added
to it. I'm not expecting updates on any of the new bugs from this week
but feel free to provide updates on the ones that have been lingering
though ;).

The round table today will be used to review where things are with the
tasks for the milestones, and make sure any interlocks/dependencies are
surfaced.
