But unfortunately it's not: https://sources.debian.org/src/album-data/4.05-7/debian/rules/#L68 i.e., it's removing an embedded js library. Is it really fine for it to embed said library…? In Debian we don't particularly like embedded libraries. Also I'm not spotting immediatly that .js in the copyright file, which is a RC bug by itself. I don't have enough time to actually go and see what's really going on there, but if somebody produces an update and tells me that's fine I could be convinced to sponsor it. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. Re: network-manager-fortisslvpn
Just to make a note here: The patch you refer to was rejected. The merge request to fix the problem in another way, via https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/merge_requests/15, has been sitting for two months without any movement and has NOT been accepted by Upstream yet. Perhaps we need to wait for this issue to actually be fixed upstream first? Dependency question
I am the author of the 'album' and 'album-data' packages. I distribute a 'deb' for the package as well as a tar for the data package which someone (I'm not actually sure who) turns into an ubuntu package. For some reason they are adding an unnessary dependency: % apt-cache show album-data Depends: album, libjs-swfobject There is no reason for this package to depend on libjs-swfobject, and this is causing downstream distro's to not provide the package. How can I get the dependencies updated properly? Thanks! network-manager-fortisslvpn
Hello Friends, There is a critical bug to the package network-manager-fortisslvpn which makes the package useless on Ubuntu 20.04: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-fortisslvpn/+bug/1879377. Can the package manager look into this so we can have it fixed on Focal? It seems there are patches already at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/merge_requests/13 .
