Hi Ubuntu GNOME team.

My name is Claude Champagne. You might have seen some of my posts to
help other users on G+ and sometimes on Facebook.

I'm just a regular user who loves Linux and particulary Ubuntu GNOME.
I speak french and english.

In regular life, I'm a fiction writer for about 20 years.

I love all tech related stuff.

I've been using and promoting Ubuntu GNOME since version 15.04 (Also
a Mac user and seldom a Windows user.)

I wish to contribute more to the project because I believe in the
force of community.

Where can I help ?

I can translate in french. I I can spread the words. Help with
Facebook, G+ and Twitter accounts. I can report bugs. Help users. I
have little experience in WordPress (simple online tools.) Write
tutorials. Maybe in video.

So here it is.

Looking forward to hear from you and wishing you all the best.

Great news! I have been eagerly waiting for 16.04.
On upgrading, I get the message "Welcome to the Ubuntu 'Xenial Xerus'
development release". Do the servers contain dev versions, or can this message
be ignored?

Warm Regards
Sanjay

Before you upgrade or download, kindly make sure to read:

Kindly note:

We had a critical bug when upgrading from 14.04 LTS to 16.04 LTS. Thus, we
suggest not to upgrade at the current moment until the fix of that bug will be

By the way, for some odd reason, I can't login to our website and it's 2:50AM

Re: Updating our Wiki Pages

2016-04-22 Thread Park Juyeon
Hi all,
This is juyeon (LinDol).

first of all, Thank you for your working Ali
I am trying to translate to Korean on our wiki :)

by the way,
I think some pages need to check about below

1. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/GetUbuntuGNOME/LTS
2. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/GetUbuntuGNOME/Non-LTS
3. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/GetUbuntuGNOME/Upgrade
These pages didn't have header menu, but other pages had header men on the
top of page.

and
4. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/Installation/AutoInstallation
5. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/Installation/SideBySide
6. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/Installation/ManualInstallation

I think we would better if we update it using 16.04 LTS ;-)

This is not problem,
but if it is updated, i think would better than now :)

sorry for my english.
Have a great day! :)

Thanks.

That's weird. I can access it. Are you having problems with the
Launchpad.net login or something?

Re: Translation Call for Help!

2016-04-22 Thread Narcis Garcia
What means exactly that "GNOME Builder (IDE) is now available in the
archives" ? What archives?

"if you are using FOSS KMS drivers you can enable it by removing
xserver-xorg-legacy" -> What is "it" singular number can be only about
Xorg. Am I right or "it" should me "them" to refer the drivers?

Thanks.
