Disaster of what?
When you said disaster recovery the first software I could think of
was Sahana which is actually a disaster management software -

Hi Narendra,

Thanks. I think it is a great suggestion. Even I used to look for some
tips and guidance during previous years of GSoC about how to do all of
this. Manish has suggested me to start writing a blog (I am pretty
lazy about doing any kind of writing except code), so I will soon
start a blog and keep you all updated about it.

Thanks

[ubuntu-in] Accepted for GSoC 2011

2011-04-25 Thread Abhinav Upadhyay
Hey Guys,

I feel very happy and excited to inform you all that I have been
accepted for GSoC 2011. I submitted a proposal for The NetBSD
foundation and it was finally selected. It is like a dream come true
for me, I had been aiming at this for last 4 years (but never applied
before this), its really an awesome feeling.

I started my contribution to open source with Ubuntu so I feel I owe a
lot to the community, I must thank all of you. I would like to thank
Manish and Pratul in particular as they provided valuable help and
guidance before and during the proposal process.

Thanks a lot :)

If the old website will not be used, then making ubuntu-in.info point to the
new website seems like the logical thing to do. But this is only my opinion.
