I'd problem in opening sites like iitr.ac.in wordpress.com/ ...etcetra If you specific sites not opening, then I think you can change DNS and try... may be nortandns, opendns It also doesn't work. I used google public dns as well as my isp's dns. The problem appears to be same with Fedora 12 too, but Mandriva '08 loads the pages with the same DNS. I'd been facing it from the last 6 months. Have you tried leaving ping on for a minute or two? Look for packet drops. Sometime this could be due to a faulty NIC or network cable. Yes, it pings perfectly but goes into infinite loading of pages from firefox, konqueror, etc but as expected wget doesn't work for the pages . [ubuntu-in] Booth setup of Ubuntu during Techfest
We've a Techfest, named as Luminiere, in our college ( Univ. College of Engg, RTU, Kota(Raj.)) slated to be held on 16-17th April. Since it is a constituency college of *Rajasthan Technical University* which governs almost all of the technical colleges in Rajasthan, there is an urgent need to introduce FOSS in the college. Hence, to mark the *Ubuntu presence* during the techfest which draws large number of students from other colleges of the city, i request you to process request of flyers,swags, posters. If dvds ( any amount ) or T-shirt can be afforded , it would be delightful. the problem is that when I enter suspend I can not come out. I am having a similar problem with my Toshiba L305. I have a AR5007EG wireless card.
