[Bug 1955087] [NEW] bluetooth cannot transfer files to phone although connected
Public bug reported: Ubuntu version: 20.4 Not sure of package (bluez)? (Whatever handles Bluetooth) What I expected: File is transferred. What happened: transfer fails with mysterious error code (0x53) which sometimes shows up on phone and sometimes doesn't. In any case the transfer fails. Additional notes: Error was observed before, see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=202815, however suggested solution on that page doesn't work for me so I assume there is some difference. [Bug 1536409] [NEW] gimp move by holding space bar does not terminate
Public bug reported: package: gimp 2.8.14 release: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS circumstance: Running gimp in full screen mode, moving image around by depressing space bar and using mouse. Cursor changes to fist. Note that image was larger by a good bit than window / view of image. expected behavior: On releasing space bar, cursor should resume previous mode and moving mouse should not move image. observed behavior: On releasing space bar, gimp remains in same state (moving image). Moving the cursor outside the window does not release the move either. Clicking mouse (either side) has no effect in window or out. Nor does ESC, space, break, or any other keyboard action. In full screen mode, it is necessary to reboot or restart the desktop to get out of the situation. ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1536409 Title: gimp move by holding space bar does not terminate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/1536409/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 311297] Re: growisofs unable to burn dual layer DVD-R
I have experienced this problem with Ubuntu 14.04. Until a few months ago the problem did not occur, but then I started to observe inevitable failures when the target was a DL DVD-R. I have a machine still running 12.04 which does not exhibit the problem; it has no trouble writing the DVDs. I conclude the change made to 14.04 is the current problem. The error messages I get are similar to those already posted here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/311297 Title: growisofs unable to burn dual layer DVD-R To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dvd+rw-tools/+bug/311297/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1398035] [NEW] grub suddenly unable to get keystrokes from wireless keyboard and mouse
Public bug reported: Problem appeared after automatic update of version 12.04, (12.04.5) and also after trying to update to 14.04. [Bug 1398035] Re: grub suddenly unable to get keystrokes from wireless keyboard and mouse
The menu I saw offered different versions of the operating system, one per line. Since both the keyboard and the mouse were apparently not effective, pressing 'C' would presumably have no effect. The choices were different after I installed 14.04 and tried that, but the failure to receive anything from the mouse or keyboard was the same. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1398035 Title: grub suddenly unable to get keystrokes from wireless keyboard and mouse To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1398035/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 622483] Re: Rhythmbox import from folder appears to choke on large number of files
IN order to cut the problem data down to manageable size, I tried the following, which is associated with the problem reported. In this case a playable MP3 file is imported (as the contents of a folder) and doesn't show up, yet there is no error message. The folder name is '/media/m2/A/music/verdi' and the file is 'Verdi - _Nabucco_ - Karajan [Complete].mp3'. The following files will be attached: * rhythmbox-debug-0.txt (Start RB with no database, a few files in ~/Music) * rhythmdb.0.xml (result in ~/.local/share/rhythmbox) * rhythmbox-debug-1.txt (try to add Verdi mp3) * rhythmdb.1.xml (result in ~/.local/share/rhythmbox) I will continue to try to replicate the choking problem deterministically; thus far things have occurred differently with each run. ** Attachment added: attempt to add verdi fle, no error shown, file does not appear https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/622483/+attachment/1523455/+files/rhythmbox-debug-1.txt -- Rhythmbox import from folder appears to choke on large number of files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/622483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 622483] [NEW] Rhythmbox import from folder appears to choke on large number of files
Public bug reported: I attempted to import a folder containing several thousand MP3s. The process stopped after approximately 1220 had been scanned, without an error message. Most of the files do not appear in any of the displays, so I take it they have not been imported. I am wondering if there is some upper limit; I do not see anything about it in the documentation.
