As soon as I've booted my ubuntu 19.10, I've plugged my headphones and
got some clicking sound, but then there was no sound at all afterwards.
The device shows on Settings > Output and it's detected by alsamixer
also.
The headphone works normally on my phone.
This is the first time I've booted ubuntu since I've updated it (not
considering when you have to do so for the installing process). Sound
worked normally back then.
Only sound I hear is the clicking sound whenever I plug it in and off.
Headphone is at maximum gain on alsamixer.

[Bug 614888] Re: the installer crashed
Hi, I manages to install kubuntu using debootstrap. Anyway, I think the problem is something like this. I have a recovery partition in which I copied somehow the livecd into it. Apart of it, I booted with the real livecd(ucing a real cdrom), but what is mounted in /cdrom is my /dev/sda1 partition. Now under ubiquity, after I selected that partitions and mount points, it formats my / partition. Then, I think the kernel tries to get the partition table again, in which has to unmount everything. The problem is that /cdrom (which is actualy /dev/sda1 instead of the cdrom) doesn't unmount. Trying to unmount in the console says the device is busy. I had this problem updating initramfs-tools from another repository which I had to add to get some packages needed in my job. I had to enable the other 'backports' and 'multiverse' repositories. Since it is written in sources.list these repositories does not receive security updates from Ubuntu, I don't expect any solution at all. Olá a todos, Estou usando o Ubuntu Server 8.04 LTS é estou com um problema interessante com o Squid3, durante o Logrotate ele simplesmente não gera os arquivos: access.log cache.log store.log O log do squid fica sendo gerado no *.log.1 Se eu executar na mão: /usr/sbin/logrotate -d /etc/logrotate.conf Ele gera os arquivos porem no dia seguinte volta ao mesmo problemas. Alguem sabe o que pode ser ? [Ubuntu-BR] Mudança de IP - Samba
Olá a todos, Tenho um servidor samba que esta na rede 192.168.0.xx e estou precisando mudar toda a rede para 10.0.1.xx. Todas as maquinas estão cadastradas no DHCP então a mudança não vai ser o grande problema. Porem minha duvida é: Como o servidor Samba e PDC estou com medo de na hora da mudança de IP as maquinas não façam mais login na rede. Alguem sabe se tem problema fazer esta mudança de IP ? Estou tentando configurar Samba 4 e integra-lo ao DNS (bind9).
Estou usando Ubuntu 9.10.
Já configurei o named.conf e o named.options.
Este último está assim:

Boa Tarde Pessoal, Estou com um pequeno problema com o squid. Ele está apresentando 3 horas adiantadas do horário do sistema. Isso está causando um problema, pois tenho uma regra onde permito alguns sites no horário de almoço, desta forma quando chega o horário de almoço a regra não esta funcionando. Existe algum item no squid.conf para configuração ou sincronização de horário? Alguém tem alguma idéia do que pode ser? Depois que migramos win98-winxp, um programa chamado isam.exe e setver.exe não roda mais no prompt do XP de forma que virtualizamos um WIN98 no VMWare, mas o servidor de arquivos onde esta máquina está ligada passou de win2003 para win2008 que não aceita mais autenticação de win98, já viu a encrenca né ? Os aplicativos cobol estão engessados para rodar dum drive M: via mapeamento de rede. O comando 'subst' do DOS poderia ser usado no VMWare para enganar o aplicativo, mas experimentei o DOSBOX e achei-o muito melhor, especialmente porque não virtualiza o hardware e tem um footprint que dá para comparar com cmd.exe do windows. Minha solução com dosbox foi boa, pois a letra de drive M: foi criado, é fake pois aponta para C:\COBOL. Mas o doxbox para windows não parece ser a mesma coisa para Linux, pois ao imprimir nada acontece, nem um dirprn ou dir lpt1. A impressora default do Windows é uma laser remota, mas está assumindo a LPT1 para o DOS, assim pelo cmd do Windows um 'dirprn ou dir lpt1' funciona perfeitamente. O dosbox não tem o comando 'net use', senão poderia mapear a LPT1 também. Entendeu a encrenca Tenho um aplicativo que roda direitinho, mas não imprime ou redireciona para arquivo. Bom dia pessoal Estou tentando subir um servidor ntp, instalei o pacote ntp, configurei os servidores externos no qual ele vai sincronizar, porém as maquinas internas da rede não conseguem sincronizar com este servidor. Bom Dia Pessoal, Fiz uma VPN com o pptpd, até ai tudo certo. Porém preciso fazer um roteamento para q quem conecte pela vpn tenha acesso a rede comum. Realmente o Arch tem uma diferença gigante sobre o Ubuntu em performance em geral. Dificil o Debian/Ubuntu comecar a usar pacotes i386 ja que eles garantem funcionamento em qualquer Hardware, principalmente o Debian. Se voce tiver 2 links WANs poderá adquirir um roteador que faça Load Balance (LB) como o DLINK LB-604 assim simplificará a complexidade da sua internet. No proprio roteador tem opcoes para notifica-lo de problemas, SNMP, etc... além de opção de redundancia assim quando uma WAN pára, ele usa outra, quando as duas estao disponiveis então faz o LB. É muito mais simples do que lidar com a tabela de roteamento. Em menos de 2 hs estava com as duas isos blz. Acho que ninguém aqui percebeu que eu estava me referindo à lentidão do BitTorrent. Eu sei que os espelhos são rápidos.
