I tried some time ago (before knowing about UM) Ubuntu-generic (now it seems we need a new name to call vanilla ubuntu, lol) from a LivePenDrive (not sure if it was Hardy or Intrepid alpha) and I got to the desktop without any problem. I'll burn newer images (hardy, intrepid, mobile) to pendrives and see if I get anything out of it. If I find problems with all, I'll report it against X11/metacity/emeral/whatever. if it works, then I guess its UM specific. -- BUGabundo :o) (``-_-´´) http://LinuxNoDEI.BUGabundo.net Linux user #443786GPG key 1024D/A1784EBB My new micro-blog @ http://BUGabundo.net ps. Getting images
Hi there. First thing: where can the images? I only have the one linked from ogra blog from 23/09/2008 Second: I tried that image on a 7" Tsunami and on my 13.3" Asustek S37S. On my Laptop everything went okay and was really fast. I needed to reduce the top bar a few pixels (really big for this display, but it aint the target for this big laptops). On the 7" i couldnt get it to get pass GDM. Either it was really slow, or something was getting stuck, but once I get newer images, i'll try again. Thanks for the good work. -- BUGabundo :o) (``-_-´´) http://LinuxNoDEI.BUGabundo.net Linux user #443786GPG key 1024D/A1784EBB My new micro-blog @ http://BUGabundo.net signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -- Ubuntu-mobile mailing list Ubuntu-mobile@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-mobile

On generic Ubuntu (metacity) Super+F11 (and also available after configuration on Compiz) makes any windows that can be resized, able to do full screen.
