[Ubuntu-phone] Leaving this list

2017-01-04 Thread Sigvard Lyth
Today I have had enough.

People are way too negative with their feedback on this list, on what is,
after all, a work in progress.

People seem to have completely forgot that that buying an ubuntu phone
clearly states it being just that.

And the supposition and speculation that people present here, on pure
frustration, is too much for me. I wish those people were banned.

Anyway, it used to be a good list for info, but is now just a daily puke
pile. Good bye, and hope things improve.

Re: [Ubuntu-phone] Music app refuses to start

2016-06-22 Thread Sigvard Lyth
Hi Alexander.

Are you using a file manager app to look for them? Because files beginning
with a . are hidden. So you need to turn that on to see them. I can't find
a way to do that right now. :-(

But use the Go to function in the right upper menu, and go to
'/home/phablet/.config/' and maneuver regularly from there.

Good luck!

Just make it hard to access by accident. I had a friend who could not call
me for half a year, until I figured it out. :-D

Must have done it with my ear or cheek. :-P

Hell yeah! With both features! And maybe record a reply from the caller
after?

Re: [Ubuntu-phone] baresip icon for Ubuntu phone

2016-06-12 Thread Sigvard Lyth
please help yourself too this work of art, I will "release" it under any
license necessary.

Hello,

I'm building a click package for the Ubuntu mobile devices BQ E4.5 and
M10 and I need an icon for this. Do we have one which is free for use,
i.e.

without license problem? What about the one used in Android?
Or any other SIP icon? My idea is, to launch on click the terminal-app
and in this on the flight the baresip, as I did as well with the MUA
mutt.

+1 on different colors

As an owner of a pro 5, it's more "copper" than "rose gold" or
indeed "pink".

I'm really looking forward to using wireless convergence and
have been and
will be willing do deal with any bugs that come with the
system. They will

be fixed.
But I draw the line at pink/rose gold with white. A man has his limits :)

Please someone at Canonical tell this to someone at Meizu

I think the point is somewhat moot for the pro 5, as it doesn't appear
there are any more of that model for sale.

Cheers,
It's possible to buy the android version, in any color. Do yourself a favor
and buy it rooted. Then flashing UT should be a breeze.
