Re: Invitation to join 10.04 Alpha 1 testing
Ok so what day would best suit the testing day? Would February 24th be fine for everyone? This will give a nice amount of time before beta testing to get everyone settled. At the moment the idea is that we have a testing day and a class on how to test(thanks Ara). This is just to show people best practices and get them involved and will be for locos and the community at large. The idea behind having a lot of people testing is that if everyone tests their favourite applications we will have great test coverage. Anyone have any more suggestions? Re: Invitation to join 10.04 Alpha 1 testing
I imagine that the event would be mostly just inviting people to come and learn how to set up a testing environment. Perhaps getting something set up for the end of feb would be enough time to prepare people for Beta 1. Re: Invitation to join 10.04 Alpha 1 testing
Good idea, so everyone can have a feel for testing by beta. So any suggestions on a date or day of the week for the testing day? Would it be a good idea to have a session on #ubuntu-classroom too and do a bit of teaching at the start of the day? (since Ara is the testing god) Ara so would you be interested in doing a session on how to test (like what to look out for, how to do it in an organised way etc)? Re: Invitation to join 10.04 Alpha 1 testing
March 18th I would suggest then so we can have a lot of testing done before beta 2 so issues can be ironed out. Although you can start testing now :) Regards Shane Fagan On Tue, 2010-01-05 at 21:55 +, Martin Owens wrote: > What's the date?
