I think somebody will answer better than me your first question,
but I can tell perhaps the second one can be:

- The BIOS of your computer *not been configured* to boot
from the USB disk.

- *A bug* in the live USB builder (you know it's because it
returns an error message). If you find this is the case, you
can report a bug by pressing the "Alt+F2" key combination and
typing "ubuntu-bug usb-creator-gtk" ("ubuntu-bug

- A limitation of your *BIOS version*, what an update can

Not quite sure what you mean by that?

We are still pre-Alpha, but daily images are there in some state and the
testcase for those derivatives I look at are already at the tracker [1].

How about now?
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Contact#Social_Media

Here is where I got it from:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/Artwork/Graphics#Social_media
Thanks to our Artwork Team Leader (Alfredo) who made such very nice icons
:)

Is it okay now?

Re: Intro & first ISO test

2013-11-03 Thread Alberto Salvia Novella

¡Hola! ¡bienvenido al equipo!

I think somebody will answer better than me your first question, but I
can tell perhaps the second one can be:

   - The BIOS of your computer *not been configured* to boot from the
   USB disk.

   - *A bug* in the live USB builder (you know it's because it returns
an error message). If you find this is the case, you can report a
bug by pressing the "Alt+F2" key combination and typing "ubuntu-bug
   usb-creator-gtk" ("ubuntu-bug usb-creator-kde" if you're using Kubuntu).

   - A limitation of your *BIOS version*, what an update can solve. But
many times this is hard to do, so this is why I choose to but only
motherboards and laptops that has BIOS that are easy to update.

Regards.

Hello Monika,

Make sure you do enjoy quality. You can do anything from manual testing to
writing automated tests to verifying bugs.

Just make sure that you ask when you don't know something.

Doing it wrongly is not a problem, as long as you know the solution:)
