Hi sadfasdf, thanks for taking the time to file this bug report and help us make Ubuntu better. The relevant error from your report is: AppArmor parser error for /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld in /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld at line 9: Could not open 'abstractions/mysql' This file is part of 'apparmor', so its fairly confusing why it would be missing, since apparmor_parser is also part of the package. [Bug 933480] Re: Picks hmac-md5 over hmac-sha1
Hi Chris, thanks for taking the time to file this bug and help us make Ubuntu better. According to RFC 6151, this is not an urgent matter: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6151 I do think that it is rather odd that hmac-md5 is still the default, but the upstream openssh authors seems to find that acceptable, and so I think we can also follow their lead. This is perhaps something to take up with the OpenSSH developers on their mailing list. Because it is not urgent and upstream has not seen fit to correct the issue, I am marking this bug as Wishlist. It is definitely something to consider, so I'm marking it as Confirmed. Chris, it would be fantastic if you would forward this bug to the OpenSSH mailing list to get the ball rolling on on a discussion. Once you've done so, report back here the results of the discussion, and we can mark this as Triaged (if there is a change to make) or perhaps close it if upstream is not interested in changing the default. ** Changed in: openssh (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Changed in: openssh (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933480 Title: Picks hmac-md5 over hmac-sha1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/933480/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Hello Tapan, thank you for taking the time to file this bug report and help us make Ubuntu better! MySQL 5.5 is not available for Ubuntu 11.04, so using it in this context is not really a supported option. If you have backported the official packages from precise, you should find that mysql-client-5.1 and mysql-client-5.5 cannot be configured and installed together because mysql-client-5.5 breaks and replaces mysql-client-5.1. Apt should remove mysql-client-5.1 in favor of mysql-client-5.5. [Bug 934011] Re: package postfix 2.7.0-1ubuntu0.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 75
Hi Seetharam, thanks for taking the time to file this bug and help us make Ubuntu better. Your hostname is not valid as a mail host name, so postfix is refusing to start. This is commonly attributed to a poorly configured cable modem or router which hands out invalid hostnames with underscores in the names or numbers as the first characters. You can verify this by looking at /etc/hostname and /etc/mailname, both files can be edited to be something more correct for postfix. Once it is appropriate, 'dpkg --configure -a' should finish configuring postfix. This is not a bug in postfix though, so closing as Invalid. ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to postfix in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/934011 Title: package postfix 2.7.0-1ubuntu0.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 75 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postfix/+bug/934011/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
