I realize they might not be perfect, but maybe you like the idea? I tried to make one for each category, but i think they all end up having a lot of "audio focus" maybe it is a good thing? I think it emulates what we are quite well: /linux for creative humans/ a digital product made by analogue robots ;) And they are quiet and noisy at the same time, which i find to be a really poetic contrast. I think this one is really beautyfull but it should be used without the logos for the general "about" text in the feature tour (: http://geirdal.is/images/studio/studio_07.png It is risky, but i also find it very cool, fresh and inspiring. 90's fractal with a millennial twist! I'm convinced that, properly framed on the page, using geirdals pictures could make the sexiest feature tour, ever :) Yours, -- Set Hallstrom aka sakrecoer The only thing I would like to remind of is of the "big picgture", which should be about information. It's easy to become a bit obsessed about the details of a design, but the importance is still around what the whole thing informs. And, what is the information? That is the question that needs to be answered - not only with graphics, but with the whole thing. The current feature tour is old, and should be buried. It should be replaced by something that does the same thing, but better. Better information. Better graphics, but most importantly - better information. Thank you, Kaj! I tried to base the text ( http://sakrecoer.com/ubuntustudio/feature-tour.txt ) and layout as good as i could on your and autumna's wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/FeatureDefinitions/WebsiteXenial The text (and me) is begging for review and i'd love to read/see what you all think should be corrected both text- and design-wise. I believe it's the typical kindof work that gets super strong from teamwork. Yes I have all windows fonts installed with winetricks. I use default Wine with default configuration in UbuntuStudio 16.04 for this apps: - Infostat - TAudioconverter and I use PlayOnLinux for: - e-Sword In XFCE always fonts are OK, but in IceWM, jwm, openbox, lubuntu-desktop, razor-qt, lxde, lxqt wine fonts always are bad very bad In both, Wine and PlayOnLinux I have installed all windows fonts: /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Arial.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Arial.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Arialbd.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/ArialBd.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Arialbi.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/ArialBI.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Ariali.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/ArialI.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/AriBlk.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CALIBRI.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CALIBRIB.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CALIBRII.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CALIBRIZ.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/cambria.ttc /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CAMBRIA.TTC /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/cambriab.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CAMBRIAB.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/cambriai.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CAMBRIAI.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/cambriaz.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CAMBRIAZ.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CANDARA.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CANDARAB.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CANDARAI.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CANDARAZ.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Comic.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Comicbd.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/consola.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSOLA.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/consolab.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSOLAB.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/consolai.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSOLAI.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/consolaz.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSOLAZ.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/constan.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSTAN.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/constanb.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSTANB.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/constani.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSTANI.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/constanz.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CONSTANZ.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CORBEL.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CORBELB.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CORBELI.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/CORBELZ.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/cour.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/courbd.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/courbi.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/couri.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSans-Bold.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSans.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSansFallback.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSansJapanese.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSansMono.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSerif-Bold.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSerif-BoldItalic.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSerif-Italic.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/DroidSerif-Regular.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/fontinst.inf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Georgia.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Georgiab.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Georgiai.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Georgiaz.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Impact.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/lucon.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/MEIRYO.TTC /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/MEIRYOB.TTC /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/tahoma.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/tahomabd.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Times.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Times.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Timesbd.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/TimesBd.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Timesbi.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/TimesBI.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Timesi.TTF /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/TimesI.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/trebuc.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/trebucbd.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Trebucbd.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/trebucbi.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/trebucit.ttf /home/wachin/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/Ubuntu-B.ttf

The metapackages are a little different compared to normal packages, because there is a special command to run the germination script locally based on the seeds in the other repository, and update the debian/control file. I queried the the process with Kaj offline a while back, with the intention to add it to the wiki. I will try and find the mail and forward it.
