While recompiling alsa : $./configure --with-cards=(yourcard),usb-audio --with-sequencer=yes to create the snd-(usb) modules Then $sudo modprobe (snd-(usb) modules) "Midi through" ports are missing yet, but untill now I don't need them. Hi Gustin, I connect it always in USB port, now no joy... in Hardy all worked fine, now I think there is a probleme with ALSA and the MIDI input, alsa can't detect MIDI devices and can't pass information to JACK... So no MIDI support... Do you have US 9.04 ? In Qjackctl ALSA connection can you see your MIDI devices (I can see only tymidity ports on the right) ? If your Axiom works in plug and play I suppose that during the reinstallation of alsa drivers, needed to have my sound card work, I've lost midi support, maybe i've done wrong configuration... I think it's a solvable probleme, but I need some help... I copy the information I've posted yesterday..
