Dimension 9100, dual 3mgz 4G memory, 500G hd Nvidia 6800 two screens.. New Raring Ringtail downloaded last night.. Reboot after install hung after regurgitating the dvd.. Fine after hard restart. Joseph Ronne, Did you check the image, MD5SUM and the DVD after it was burned? How did you try to install the Flashplugin-installer, seperated or through the recommende xubuntu-restricted-extras? Because i've had no issues here on my Ubuntu Studio install and flash is working. I'd also check the hard drive just to make sure it's still ok and has no bad blocks. Re: Upgraded to 13.04, now display can't set to 1680x1050
I upgraded to 13.04 today and spent hours trying to get my display like it was yesterday. After searching the forumsetc etc...I tried a reboot and on the login dialogue screen I chose Xfce desktop instead of Ubuntu Studio..VOILA!! It worked. ~Leo From: Pete Wright pnwri...@gmail.com To: Dave Woyciesjes woycies...@sbcglobal.net Cc: Ubuntu Studio Users Help and Discussion ubuntu-studio-users@lists.ubuntu.com Sent: Thursday, April 25, 2013 8:04 PM Subject: Re: Upgraded to 13.04, now display can't set to 1680x1050 I suspect the new install failed to find the correct driver.
