Ubuntu font testing
Hi translators, I just wanted to let you know about this: http://design.canonical.com/2010/07/native-readers-extending-the-beta/ We're extending the testing program to include more alphabets, and we've started adding the relevant teams to test Cyrilic and Greek. If you are using those alphabets, you'll receive an e-mail from Jorge Castro with a confirmation that you've been given access to the PPA for testing. If you are using Cyrillic or Greek, and your team has not been given access to the PPA, please let me know and we can add you straight away. Please help testing the new Ubuntu font and make it even more awesome. Thanks! That's correct, but although we talked about this some time ago, we haven't quite coordinated with the docs team to update the ubuntu-docs, and if I'm not mistaken, there hasn't been any post-release update to the package. If the docs team would like to release an update with new translations, I'd be happy to release a new language pack update shortly after. Regards, David. When I check Help in my Ubuntu-Lucid, I still see untranslated strings and errors which I corrected. I have downloaded the latest updates (including the language pack). When will these translations and corrections appear in Lucid? I might be mistaken, but isn't documentation outside the scope of the language packs? I.e. for documentation updates you've got to rebuild the package with latest translations included. Or, put another way: I think documentation translation updates don't come with regular Ubuntu language pack updates. A new package containing translations needs to be rebuilt. Re: Testing translation Ubuntu-docs (Lucid)
Hi Guys, I found an error in the new language pack: the window for the printer settings (System -- Administration -- printing) shows a wrong title. I already searched in Launchpad for this package, but I can not find it (I am a bit useless in using Launchpad, which doesn't help either...). can you please point me to the translations site of this package? would be great! I will then take care of the translation thanks regards Steffen -- ubuntu-translators mailing list ubuntu-translators@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators
