Hi,
Both of those issues still exist in Dapper, are there bugs filed on the
issues?

If these get into the bugtracker, they might get fixed.

Oooh. Wow. Would you be willing to write a small article for:

  http://fridge.ubuntu.com/

about why you are trying out Edubuntu (eg. less work for yourself because
it's already close to what you're after). Photographes of rooms full of
PC's running Linux are particularly good, even without any kids in them!

Let me know if you'd like any assistance,

  https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+filebug

And please list the commands/actions to reproduce the bug (eg. the above,
with more detail).

  Severity: Wishlist.

[ubuntu-uk] Recent Documents on Breezy

2006-03-11 Thread Gordon Burgess-Parker
Does anyone find the "Recent Documents" listing to be very flaky? mostly
I find it doesn't work at all, or is wiped at each log-off.
Is there a fix?

Do you have some more details on this, it sounds like the type of event it
would be good to arrange a larger presence at.

[ubuntu-uk] Evolution and Dapper?

2006-03-11 Thread Gordon Burgess-Parker
Does anyone know whether the deep integration of Evolution in Breezy has
been modified in Dapper?
I'm not over keen on Evolution, but certainly in Breezy there's no way
to set another client in the "right-click send-to" context menu, and
even setting (say) Thunderbird as the preferred mail app in open Office
2 doesn't work properly. it opens a new mail window on clicking the
"Mail" icon within a document, but the window doesn't contain either the
document in the body or as an attachment. Evolution, however, does.
