Re: [ubuntu-uk] Problem with one mailbox in Thunderbird

You should be certain they are set in a location that is always going to be writeable and not going to be unavailable at any time (e.g. USB drive). I have not had this problem, lots of email accounts, all set up for POP3 access, messages left on server until deleted. Same settings on the mailboxes - leave on server, both stored in the same place, one is OK, the other has the problem! Both were OK until a couple of weeks ago, about a day after an update. Weird. I've posted on tbird forum, no response yet. Thanks, dianne -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/

I have just tried installing lighttpd on Vivid, it 'just works' out of the box for me (clean install inside a virtual machine). That suggests the cause might be: 1. Something else you've installed on your machine which differs from my setup. 2. The way you've configured lighttpd. [ubuntu-uk] A spot of dinner before the RAT
Can you believe that I ran the straw poll for dates way back in February and yet the RAT is this coming Saturday 19th September?! Good job that we did, as this is looking to be our most popular year for Ubuntu type folk drinking quality beer on a steam train. While food is available on the train, some of us like to meet up before hand at a pub in Farnham to get the evening off to a good start with food and drink there. Last year we met at the Waverly Arms, the year before that we were at The Mulberry. Both are good pubs with good food. When, where and whom would like to munch before beerage on the choochoo? Just had a thought, have you got fam or gamin installed? I'm using fam, but I just tried replacing it with gamin on my laptop and lighttpd started. -- Registered Linux User #466407 http://counter.li.org -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
