[Ubuntu-US-CA] RSVP Now! Ubuntu 14.10 Release Party in San Francisco on Thursday October 23rd
Hi everyone, On Thursday, October 23rd the next release of Ubuntu comes out! 14.10, code named Utopic Unicorn. To celebrate, some of the the Ubuntu California members in San Francisco have organized a release event at the Mozilla offices in San Francisco. Time date: 6-8PM, October 23rd Location: 2 Harrison St, San Francisco, CA 94105 Arrival instructions: Enter the main lobby from the Embarcadero door entrance and sign in when you arrive. Public Transportation: Right on the Embarcadero, this is a 5 minute walk south from Embarcadero BART or accessible via MUNI Metro, getting off at the Embarcadero and Harrison Street stop. Pizza (cheese, veg and meat) and beverages will be provided, please contact me if you have any dietary restrictions and we will work with our host to make accommodations. Plus, we have giveaways! We have a pile of Ubuntu pens and stickers that attendees are welcome to. Elizabeth K. Joseph has also given us 3 signed copies of The Official Ubuntu Book, 8th Edition to give away at this event! Hi all, I have closed the CIVS poll and am happy to announce the election results.
