I have tried to downgrade the driver to maverick version. This did not solve the problem. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 573006] Re: Touch screen driver clicks at wrong location
The weird thing here is that when I play back on another computer, its not nearly as jumpy as the real deal. On the computer its on, it jumps to y=0 often when swiping in x direction, and to x=0 when swiping in y direction. It kind of jumps back and forth. It seems to stick in the direction I move though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573006 Title: Touch screen driver clicks at wrong location To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/utouch/+bug/573006/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 573006] Re: Touch screen driver clicks at wrong location
I have swapped axes, so the playback didn't exactly look the same as what I did. But ill describe it how you are suppose to experience it: First i swipe with a stylus from bottom right to top left, and from bottom left to top right. Then I use my finger to do the same. Watch how sketchy it becomes. Last i touch with my finger, bottom right, bottom left, top right, top left. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 804880] [NEW] 3D graphics cause EQ overflowing on Sandybridge Desktop
Public bug reported: How to reproduce: - launch etracer (package extremetuxracer) - after about half a level, the graphics start glitching and EQ overflowing errors appear in the log. I initially ran into this with the X-Plane closed-source program, it runs into issues more quickly. Simpler 3D apps such as glxgears don' t seem affected. This report is from running the x-edgers latest release and new mainline kernel, but the problems also occurred with the stock 11.04 xorg driver and kernel. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 803992] Re: Natty update introduced crasher in xorg
This also affects me. I'm using the GNOME 3 PPA with the NVIDIA binary driver, and a system update around the same time also broke GDM. For the record, X seems to work fine when launched from the command line (and I run, for example, xterm), but GDM still does not show up. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/803992 Title: Natty update introduced crasher in xorg To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/803992/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 803992] Re: Natty update introduced crasher in xorg
I should mention that reverting GDM to version 2.32 from Natty, and then re-upgrading to 3.0 seemed to partially fix this for me (except now the login theme uses Ubuntu instead of GNOME 3 styles). I am not sure whether just reinstalling the GDM 3.0 package would have fixed it as well.
