[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 897904] [NEW] nvidia-current(-updates) stuck on Kernel 3.2

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 868400] Re: Synaptics touchpad stops working
#Doug McMahon No problem, thanks for trying. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 582809] Re: Synaptics Clickpad touchpad buttons are not working
@tuxor1337: That is exactly how I felt. So, when I saw OpenSUSE 12.1 come out, knowing it already had the support I wanted, I was baffled. I said screw it, and made the switch to Gnome 3. I now have an almost fully functional HP DM1Z. If only there was no pesky watchdog timer /facepalm While Mint 12 is coming along nicely and may have the support, I wanted to stay with the "Maverick" series. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 860053] [NEW] "N-Trig Pen eraser" causes mouse pointer to reset periodically
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I recently installed Ubuntu 11.04 on a Lenovo T410s and noticed that the mouse cursor/pointer would jump/reset periodically. If I had Twinview on the pointer would reset somewhere on the other monitor. I turned that off and the pointer still reset but within the only existing screen available. I disabled all the mouse input devices and enabled them one at a time starting with my USB mouse until I found the one that caused the resets. I was able to temporarily fix the problem by disabling the "N-Trig Pen eraser" input device. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 827080] [NEW] System Freeze Every Start-Up
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Every Start-Up of Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat (10.10) on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop, the whole system freezes a few minutes after Logging in. This is about the time I have to open Firefox (but the problem occurs even if I do not open any software). SysRq+Alt+REISUB has no effect so I have to do a hard restart. This usually fixes the problem (when I log-in again) but sometimes I have to restart in this manner two or three times. I think it maybe a GUI issue. Any suggestions? [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 897610] [NEW] GPU lockups while monitors are sleeping
Public bug reported: Apparently random GPU lockups happen while monitors are asleep. During last episode something must have gone wrong so I couldn't wake up the screen, and digging in kernel logs after reset I found out many similar events. I don't see any consistent pattern, pc is on most of the time and there are days without any problem. Last lockup: Nov 28 22:34:13 leprechaun kernel: [97807.584053] radeon :01:00.0: GPU lockup CP stall for more than 1msec happened a few minutes after monitors switched off and more than one hour before touching mouse and keyboard so waking up shoudn't be the trigger, at least in the last case. I'll pay attention to the running applications but besides firefox, thunderbird, gedit, boinc and maybe rhythmbox there isn't much running while monitors are sleeping. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 883030] Re: /usr/lib/libGL.so symlink missing
I think it is in fact not a bug. In previous Ubuntu versions there was a symlink from /usr/lib/libGL.so to the specific library, which was cached by CMake on my system. Restarting the CMakeCache resolves this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to mesa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883030 Title: /usr/lib/libGL.so symlink missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/883030/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
