[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 911086] Re: Touchpad stops working after unplugging monitor
Does this happen reproducibly? Does your monitor connection also include an USB connector (often they have a builtin hub)? I see some USB disconnects in the log, and wonder if that is from the touchpad (which might be internally wired through USB) or from the monitor. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/911086 Title: Touchpad stops working after unplugging monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/911086/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 912322] Re: Libre Office causes the windows manager to crash
Thorsten, I was being presumptuous that LibreOffice was crashing based on the initial report. If GNOME3 is crashing you out to your login screen, or hanging the OS requiring a reboot, this may be a bug in xorg or GNOME3. Despite this, because your using the GNOME3 PPA, which is not a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories, the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 906987] Re: syndaemon polls 5 times a second even though it is started with the -R XRecord extension option
It ought to be possible to implement syndaemon like gnome-session's idle detection. It uses the XSync extension and XCreateAlarm(). I have started making some investigations about this. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 814777] Re: Occassional mouse cursor corruption on primary display
This bug affects me as well. Sometimes moving the pointer gently to the right side of my primary display restores the pointer completely, and sometimes it restores it to a slight scrambled version. I also have a second, probably-related problem, where the system gets confused and compresses the mouse movement to about 30% of the screen width in my left (secondary) monitor. Neither happens 100% predictably. They're more likely after the secondary monitor (HDMI) has been unplugged and plugged back in, but can happen without that, too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/814777 Title: Occassional mouse cursor corruption on primary display To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/814777/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 914216] [NEW] arrandale xorg very laggy when Intel vt-d is enabled
Public bug reported: I have a thinkpad x201 with intel graphics. I experienced intermittent but frequent multi-second lags in X input, both keys and mouse on precise, using both the standard xorg and also the current one from the x-staging ppa. With help from raof, I discovered that turning off vt-d in the bios fixed the problem. So it seems like there is a bug in X to do with handling vt-d. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 913314] Re: Corrupted display with Spice
Fixed the -dbg package. Here is a new gdb session log pin-pointing where (but not, to my untrained eye, why) the segfault happens. ** Attachment added: "gdb-Xorg.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-qxl/+bug/913314/+attachment/2665615/+files/gdb-Xorg.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-qxl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/913314 Title: Corrupted display with Spice To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm-spice/+bug/913314/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
