Here are my computer's specs :

I am using nVIDIA GeForce 310M as my graphics card. I wonder if that makes a
difference.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 953860] Re: X11 development packages not multiarch in 12.04

2012-11-28 Thread Michael
On Quantal all of these packages are marked Multi-Arch: same except
libxrandr-dev. A quick look in the .deb files show that the MD5 sums of
all shared files are the same between i386, amd64, powerpc and both
arms. Could you please fix this?

2012-11-28 Thread MasterCATZ
Ubuntu 12.10

mine was fine until I tried enabling ati power save feature then the
flicker popped up and no matter what i have tried i can not get it to go
back to normal

even erased xorg.conf and tried purging xserver-xorg-video-*

echo dynpm /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_method
was all I did and even after reboot it defaulted back to profile / default
anyhow

if I install fglrx screen flicker stops

but because all I get is a black screen when i drop into terminals (
ALT + F1 ect ) and the when ever i turn of / on another monitor my
desktops get stuffed up i really want to use the open source drivers

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1007765] Re: brightness adjusting crashes system

2012-11-28 Thread Joseph Salisbury
There is no fix for this bug as of yet. I removed the link to upstream
bug https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15895 . That bug is for
the i915 driver and this bug is for fglrx.

Adding a fglrx task for review.

dix: work around scaling issues during WarpPointer (#53037)

In WarpPointer calls, we get input in screen coordinates. They must be
scaled to device coordinates, and then back to screen coordinates for screen
crossing and root coordinates in events.

The rounding errors introduced (and clipping in core/XI 1.x events) can lead
to the actual position being different to the requested input coordinates.
e.g. 200 scales to 199., truncated to 199 in the event.

Avoid this by simply overwriting the scaled screen coordinates with the
input coordinates for the POINTER_SCREEN case.

Shouldn't the Component be changed to Input/*?
Not sure if Peter Hutterer knows about this regression.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the inner workings of X to provide

Yes, it would be nice to have some feedback about this 11th-hour
regression.

What's the point in testing the release candidates if regressions are going to
be introduced (and apparently reports ignored) right before release anyway?

Shouldn't the Component be changed to Input/*?

That's what I thought at first, but all the Input/ components seem to be for
specific drivers. This issue isn't driver-specific, it's a problem with the
server.

That being said, this bugtracker has way too many components.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1081108] Re: Xorg crash after clicking on workspace in inkscape

2012-11-28 Thread Nicolas Le Novere
After reading that the bug was fixed on ArchLinux by an upgrade of xorg,
I upgraded xserver-org-core

xserver-xorg-core:
  Installed: 2:1.13.0-0ubuntu6.1

No success. Still crashes. This is terrible for me. I am in the middle
of revising the specifications of a graphical language. Inkscape is
basically the software I use the most after firefox and thunderbird.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1080082] Re: Lightdm killed during boot (kills itself?)

2012-11-28 Thread Ivo Anjo
Just to add, I've tried multiple workarounds, and the best one (works
every time) and less intrusive is modifying the file
/etc/init/lightdm.conf adding respawn like this:

...
stop on runlevel [016]

respawn

emits login-session-start
emits desktop-session-start
emits desktop-shutdown

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 607072] Lighters

2012-11-28 Thread Brian Mathiyakom
Hello Customer

But what should you do if you can not afford the unique luxurious watches for
all these wear?
What you see - is what you get!

-
I just received my PN-20 (Panerai Luminor GMT Automatic), and I have to say I'm
really impressed. I have ordered from quite a few replica sites in the past,
and I always ended up sending the watch back disappointed. I hope this makes it
into your customer comments section. I would recommend this site to anyone.
Very prompt delivery, great prices and wonderful quality.
Thanks for the fast response. You guys are great!
