[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 620063] Re: radeon driver crash
Laurent Bigonville, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily kernel folder, but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For example: kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.12-rc2 This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please remove the tag: needs-upstream-testing If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER As well, please remove the tag: needs-upstream-testing Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your understanding. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/620063 Title: radeon driver crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/620063/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

Sorry. :) Unfortunately/fortunately I can no longer reproduce it after doing a BIOS update on my ASUS motherboard (was about 18 months behind). Based on your description of the bug as possibly related to the BIOS I decided to do that update, and even though it's only been about 10 minutes of usage, I can't reproduce this in Google Maps at all, where it was sure to cause the bug. I'd certainly recommend that anyone having this issue investigate a BIOS upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041790 Title: [snb] GPU lockup IPEHR: 0x0b160001 IPEHR: 0x0b140001, workaround i915.semaphores=0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1041790/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 871665] Re: Mouse pointer does not move correctly from a screen to another in a dual-head config - jumps too far
I found a Workaround: simplay set the screens to the same resolution and it should work. Another bug is: if you flip your monitors, so that your left screen is right and the right one is on the left side, then the mouse will appear much more on the right side (should be in my case at 1680-(1920-1680) on the right screen). And the launcher bar is only triggered when you go to that coordinate there is also the barrier for stopping the mouse from going to the other screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/871665 Title: Mouse pointer does not move correctly from a screen to another in a dual-head config - jumps too far To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/871665/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1180881] Re: Touchscreen only works after suspend/resume on Lenovo ideapad P400 Touch
Using wireshark to monitor the usb traffic, we'll find the touchscreen becomes abnormal after systems sends the IDLE command to it. But the touchscreen could revive after sending some other commands, such as GET_DESCRIPTOR. I'll build a test driver soon, but I need to build a list for the affected usb id. On this bug, there are 2 IDs 06cb:1d10 and mine is 06cb:0af8 Please reply if your borken touchscreen ID is not listed above. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180881 Title: Touchscreen only works after suspend/resume on Lenovo ideapad P400 Touch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/1180881/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
