[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1265558] [NEW] Crippled glyphs in X
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Every now and then, I see single crippled glyphs in my windows. So far, it occured on the bash console window, Emacs, and Chromium, so I can safely say that it must have something to do with the X system itself or the window manager. I attached a screenshot exhibiting this problem. It happens after opening a window or scrolling. Marking the characters with the mouse or otherwise forcing a redraw restores the glyph. It occurs since Ubuntu 13.10. Before that, I've never seen something like this. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete ** Tags: bot-comment -- Crippled glyphs in X https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1265558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1283568] [NEW] Desktop crashes when docking/undocking
Public bug reported: Thinkpad X220 with docking bay with external display attached to it. I frequently dock and undock my laptop while it's on. Since about thursday (I think) the desktop becomes completely unusable when I dock or undock. The screen visibly corrupts, for example when undocking (and going from 1x1080p external screen to 1x768 internal panel) or docking. It flickers madly as if it's trying to crowbar 1920x1080 pixels into 1366x768 panel. Switching to VT and suspend/resume doesn't fix it. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1217585]
Still present in 3.13.2-gentoo. I found that -EBUSY returns from nv50_fbcon_imageblit. what is wrong in nouveau's way of setting up pgraph. Does it mean that the bug somewhere in nv50_grctx_generate? Just to be sure that bug in this function, is it possible to replace it using data from mmiotrace of nvidia driver? For me it is not obvious how to modificate nv50_grctx_fill in that case, what nv50_grctx_init should write to *size and, after all, may it help somehow? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1217585 Title: System hangs after some time with nouveau and GT240 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nouveau/+bug/1217585/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
